What do I need to take this course?

Any skill level can take this course, even if you’ve never used Photoshop before! You will need access to a laptop/computer that can support Adobe Photoshop Creative Cloud. View system requirements from Adobe here.

There are a couple versions of Photoshop, but the version I use to teach the course is Adobe Photoshop Creative Cloud. Please note that other versions of Photoshop may not have all the features that I used and feature in the course.

Photoshop is compatible with PC and MAC.

Who Should Enroll in this course?

This course is perfect for authors who want to learn the basics of Photoshop and design their own marketing material. This course is also the first in my Book Cover Design Course Bundle.

Photoshop for Authors does not teach book cover design. It teaches a basic understanding of Photoshop and some of it’s most powerful tools so when you move on to taking my other course in the Book Cover Design Course Bundle, you will already have a basic understanding of the tools needed to design book covers.

You should consider enrolling in Photoshop for Authors if you’ve never used Photoshop before and wish to take my other courses in the Book Cover Design Course Bundle.

If you have some experience with Photoshop, then it’s possible you can skip this course and move on to the other courses in the Book Cover Design Course Bundle. However, please review the course curriculum and ensure you have a clear understanding of all tools.
