Manual therapy techniques to work the Bladder and Intestines
Want to know how to work the bladder and intestines to help your clients feel better?
The bladder and intestines can be difficult to access because they’re well protected by the structure of the body and their positioning in the abdominal cavity. It makes sense. These vital organs aren’t meant to be on display. They are meant to be well cushioned and guarded from potential damage from the external world.
Because of this need for protection, working these territories can be difficult without the proper instruction. I created this course as a way to make working the bladder and intestines more accessible to manual therapy practitioners just like you.
Working these territories can be helpful for clients:
– With postural issues
– Recovering from surgery
– With back or pelvic floor pain
– Dealing with incontinence
– Feeling tightness in their abdomen
– Suffering from disorders like Crohn’s, IBS, Endometriosis, Diverticulitis, etc. (when not experiencing a flare-up)
While it may seem daunting to work in this territory, with proper instruction and a little practice, you will find that these techniques can easily be incorporated in your sessions when needed.
In this course, we will:
- Discuss basic anatomy and functions of the bladder and intestines
- Discuss indications and contraindications for working the bladder and intestines
- Demonstrate how to use the Morales Method® Concepts of Palpation to create unique sessions that are tailored to the needs of each individual client
- Hear feedback from the model, Caroline, about how it feels to receive this work as a client
- Demonstrate manual therapy techniques for palpating and working the following territories:
- The bladder
- The ascending, descending, and sigmoid colon
- The mesentery, a rarely discussed organ that connects the intestines to the posterior abdominal wall
- Provide you with a detailed, downloadable PDF reviewing all the material covered in the course and the Morales Method® Concepts of Palpation.
This course focuses its instruction on how to palpate and connect with layers of tissue that are deep inside the body. This work requires you to hone your listening and palpation skills to an expert level that will ultimately improve all your skills as a manual therapist!
“Thank you for such a great fascinating insightful class. I have incorporated a few of the moves I managed to remember, and they went well. I received great feedback from clients and feel I’ve stepped up my game. :)”

- Innovative Business Model:
- Embrace the reality of a genuine business! Our approach involves forming a group buy, where we collectively share the costs among members. Using these funds, we purchase sought-after courses from sale pages and make them accessible to individuals facing financial constraints. Despite potential reservations from the authors, our customers appreciate the affordability and accessibility we provide.
- The Legal Landscape: Yes and No:
- The legality of our operations falls into a gray area. While we lack explicit approval from the course authors for resale, there’s a technicality at play. When procuring the course, the author didn’t specify any restrictions on resale. This legal nuance presents both an opportunity for us and a boon for those seeking budget-friendly access.
- Quality Assurance: Unveiling the Real Deal:
- Delving into the heart of the matter – quality. Acquiring the course directly from the sale page ensures that all documents and materials are identical to those obtained through conventional means. However, our differentiator lies in going beyond personal study; we take an extra step by reselling. It’s important to note that we are not the official course providers, meaning certain premium services aren’t included in our package:
- No coaching calls or scheduled sessions with the author.
- No access to the author’s private Facebook group or web portal.
- No entry to the author’s exclusive membership forum.
- No direct email support from the author or their team.
We operate independently, aiming to bridge the affordability gap without the additional services offered by official course channels. Your understanding of our unique approach is greatly appreciated.
